Boy oh boy have I been busy. NO EXCUSES KAT! Let’s play catch up, shall we?
I am done with jury duty. Not sure if I can really talk about it on the Interwebs, but let’s just say I learned a lot about the spine! Met some very fun people doing my civic duty (hehe duty). I’m not sure if anyone else has done jury duty but looking back at it now, it wasn’t too bad at all. Everyone at the court house was very friendly (Daley Center), they recently just raised the payment (25 bones the first day then 50 after), and my group of jurors were the bomb dot com.
Some Friday ago, a group of friends and I went to a place called HeadQuarters in Lakeview (LINK). Not a bad place for an evening out. It’s a beercade with all these types of older arcade games. It was pretty crowded and smelled like a college bar, but the games were pretty cool. They also had an old Rock vs Hulk wrestling match on the TVs and projection systems. As someone who likes video games and having a beverage, this is pretty cool. Being an introvert and not liking crowds, I hated every minute of it. If I didn’t have to carry my coat (I didn’t want to check my coat bc my lack of faith in the check out/in system), smelled better, and less crowded, I would had a great time. Only positive neutral about the place was the bathroom design. We also got to take a peek of pinball guts! That guy was standing INSIDE the machine. Pretty neat (see featured image above). 
House Update: We’re still looking for houses! Haven’t found the right one yet and time is counting down. Our lease ends at the end of May so either our landlord is super and lets us stay on a month to month basis or we’re moving in with my parents XD.
YouTube Update: Finally played some more Life Is Strange! I’m about half way through the game at the moment and I’m really not sure how I feel about it. I’m the type of gamer that likes to play games that aren’t about that RL (real life)–this game is just that, with a splash of super powers. It’s very frustrating to me to see bullying or peer pressure, even when it’s fiction-seeing someone get so hurt that they take it to heart. It makes my soul cry. I wish I can say more, but I don’t want to ruin the plot even if you did see or play the game already. This game have some deep moments.
I have more Lego videos to post! Barely anyone commented on that one video about the giveaway. Seriously, no one wants to win moneys?? I’ll open up the contest again for the second Legos video but only 4 winners left! YES I did pull a name already and I’ll post the winner in the video as well.
I will be playing more Gauntlet Legends! Don’t worry that didn’t disappear 🙂 I’m seriously running out of space on my poor computer. I just need to render ALL the videos and do ALL the posting.
