What a mess today was. My day consisted of high highs and very low lows. Though, I will add that I’m ending it with a delicious boozy coffee. Happy to share later if anyone is interested 😉

I wanted to keep this short, but I’m having a hard time finding the words. I think there are a lot of people in this country that are tired. Tired from the pandemic. Tired from the lack of support. Tired of not being heard. There is so much change happening around us, but it’s not for the better. It’s like the Hellmouth, boca del infierno, opened from Sunnydale and them demons are coming out. Where are all the vampire slayers at??
Speaking with some colleagues today and many couldn’t believe what they were seeing. I met with one person that had to drive about an hour into the city and he was just a nervous wreck from listening to the news on the way in. I was training him on the equipment for him to use but I couldn’t help but feel so rushed because of his heighted excitement. I probably spent an extra hour with another, just speaking to them about this whole political season. I will say, that talking with people face to face about these current events helps me believe, or at least hope that things will subside and better days will come. Democracy will prevail. It has to.
Stay positive. Hug things like pillows or puppies. Have a warm boozy beverage. Most of us are here for you.
